I smile a lot.
Cupcakes are my favorite food group.
I don't eat meat because it doesn't taste good.
I want to change the world.

And i love nailpolish.
I have taken quite the break from anything social media and even my social life. Well I am back ! Since I did absolutely nothing besides clean my house on new years, I decided to use the polish that I would have worn then. This is Revlon’s “silver dollar” with essie’s “set in stones” over top. Basically, a metallic glittery explosion of awesome.

Oh hello sweet sweet essie’s “chinchilly.” I can easily say that this is one of my favorite lacquers. Described as a sleek granite grey, chinchilly is perfect for any occassion. Appropriate for the workplace but will compliment any outfit. Neutral, creamy, and delightful! Chinchilly is from the cuddle with color fall 2009 collection.

Welcome essie’s “sexy divide” from the winter 2008 collection. This bold shimmery purple has holiday party written all over it. A great way to make a statement with a dark lacquer without it crossing over into the almost black realm. Loving it!

Meet the glorious Revlon color “copper penny.” This amazing copper metallic polish is just so lovely. I’ve been hearing such great things about this color and it really impressed me. Copper penny has such a nice shine to it!!! It kind of reminds me of gold leafing but in a copper color and a nail laquer. Grab this at your local grocery or drug store. Amazing color for fall!!!!

Now I feel that I should explain my deep obsession with green nailpolish. If I see a green, my wallet just starts coming out of my bag and I kind of black out until I am outside the store with a new green purchase. This is basically how I stumbled upon Revlon’s “emerald city .”

So aside from the cliche name, which I do not hate, this nail laquer and I have a love -hate relationship. It is categorized as a ‘matte suede’ which I don’t quite agree with. Perhaps using a matte top coat would have helped the matte-ness of this emerald beauty. What I love about it is that the deep forest green color is amplified with the silver shimmer.

Emerald city is a great holiday color and I do like it. Revlon polishes are making their way into my collection and I’m not fighting it. :)

Meet OPI’s “jade is the new black”. I first noticed this color during a routine video chat with my little sister. She had it on her nails and I fell in love. The very next day I went out and purchased this glorious color. No matter the season this is one of my favorite colors. It’s the perfect jewel tone. Try this out— you’ll be happy you did.

I couldn’t wait to try out this magnetic nail polish. I picked up this nails inc color in trafalgar square from sephora and was a little skeptical at first. Holy moly this is amazing !!!! I held the magnet different ways to create different patterns and kind of fell in love. I wish this came in more than three colors. The best way to do this is to put one coat one and let it dry. Then one by one paint each nail and hold the magnet over the nail for 15 or so seconds. If you let the second coat dry before holding the magnet over it, then it will not work. Check it out because its magical !!!

Meet essie’s “lady like” from the fall 2011 brand new bag collection. This is a muted light pink creme color. I love it because it is darker than my skin tone but also has some nice greys and lavendars that make it more exciting that a regular neutral. I’m loving lady like for fall. Or forever :)

This color is quite the departure from my superman blue the other day. This, my little tumbler loves, is essie’s “merino cool”. Now, I’m not too sure if I like it or not. There is a lot of purple and brown in it, which I’m generally a fan of. Quite mauve, really. We will see if of grows on me. What do you think ??

So I went to walgreens to pick up some stuff for an upcoming nail tutorial and had to visit the nailpolish section. This is one of the three new colors I picked up by essie called “aruba blue.” The first coat left me disappointed because it looked so much bluer than I expected. Kind of like OPIs “suzi says feng shui.” Don’t get me wrong, I love that color but I was hoping for a deeper blue. After I applied two coats I was so much happier. This color is very true to its name, and really reminds me of the water in aruba. It has a great shine to it and is right on trend for fall. :)
